Jivdhan Fort is a Hill Fort one kilometer away from Naneghat Pass, Ghatghar, Junnar. The trekking route initially is covered in the dense forest leading to amazing views. You can spot many beautiful birds and wildlife around the fort. Many campsites and homestays are available near the starting point of the trek. The road leading to the fort has been improved.

Itinerary

10.30 PM Saturday Night journey begins.
3.00 AM We Reach the  Base village
3.00 AM to 6.00 AM take Rest and a small nap (Breakfast)
6.00 AM Trek begins
8.30 AM Will reach at Jivdhan Fort
10:30 AM Return Journey  to base village
12.30 PM Lunch (inclusive of veg / non veg)
2.00 PM Return Journey to Pune
8.00 PM In Pune / Mumbai

Things To Carry

  1. Torch (optional)
  2. Please wear full pants and full sleeves t-shirts to protect from tanning, thorns, insects during the trek
  3. Snacks (Energy bars, Chikki, Biscuits, Sprouts, Chips, Dry fruits)
  4. Glucon D/Protein shakes/ORS
  5. Extra pair of clothes
  6. 2/3 litres of water (Mandatory)
  7. Any personal medicines
  8. Good grip trekking shoes
  9. Rains are expected so please carry a raincover / Jacket & cover your phones also in a plastic cover

  1. Is this trek safe for girls?
    This trek is completely safe for girls. We have girl volunteers specially appointed for girls. And have separate changing rooms.
  2. How many trek leaders will be available?
    There will be 01 trek leader available for a group of 8 people in each trek.
  3. How do I get in touch with trek leaders and trek groups ?
    We add participants in our Whatsapp group one day prior to the event.
  4. Can I cancel my booking?
    You can check our cancel policy for the same.Or you can join us on the next trek (please inform us before 2 days)
  5. What is prohibited in this trek?
    Smoking, Drinking and loud music is prohibited.
  6. Can I come alone?
    Yes, you can join us as a solo traveller.
  7. What about extra baggage?
    You can safely keep your extra bags in bus.
  8. Are changing rooms provided?
    Yes, separate (Male/Female) changing rooms are provided.
  9. What is the type of bus ?
    The bus is NON/AC Tempo Traveler with decent seating comfort.
  10. Are washrooms available on the trek?
    Washrooms are available at the base village only. No facility is available during the trek.
