Kumbhe waterfalls is a beautiful waterfall hidden in the mountains and is best visited during the rainy season. It is a beautiful waterfall that can be an excellent location for a tour or a journey. Kumbhe waterfall is located near Mangaon, Taluka of Raigad, Maharashtra. It is near the Kumbhe village. It's one of the largest and most spectacular waterfalls in the Raigad District. The height of Kumbhe Waterfall is around 300 feet. The waterfall tumbles down with a strong gush on the rocky surface right into a natural pool of turquoise waters.

Itinerary

  • From Pune - 11.00 PM Night journey begins.
  • From Mumbai - 11:00 PM Night journey begins
  • 03:00 am Reach base (Kumbhe)
  • 03.00 am - 05:00 am Rest in Bus.
  • 05:00 am - Good morning, Complete your morning routine.
  • 05.30 am -  Enjoy your morning tea & breakfast.
  • 05:45 am -  We will have small Introduction about trek with the team and fellow participants. Our team of experts will guide you thought.
  • 06:00 am -  We will reach the Kumbhe Waterfall Rappelling point.
  • 07:30 am - Rappelling will begin. Participants will need to wait for their turn, and those who have finished will need others to complete.
  • 03:00 pm - We will complete the activity and start trek towards base village.
  • 04:30 pm -  Reach the Base village congratulations on complete the trek.
  • 05.00 pm -  Lunch will be served at local villagers house.
  • 03:30 pm - We will begin our journey to the city. Till this time, heart-whelming memory of the adventure will occupy your mind on the way to Mumbai/Pune.
  • 11:00 pm - Reach Mumbai/Pune. We will follow the same route on the return journey.

Please note trek ending time may vary depending on group speed, weather conditions, the crowd on the slope and many other factors please give some time margin for your return journey.

Things To Carry

  1. 2-3 liters of water (must)
  2. Head Torch or normal Torch* with extra batteries (Must)
  3. Full sleeve T-shirts and full pant. For girls full neck t-shirt. (Must)
  4. Good trekking shoes, extra pair of socks (Must)
  5. Warm cloths / shawl, Towel, a napkin, Extra Pair of clothes (Must)
  6. Raincoat /poncho (must)
  7. Camera, Cap etc. (Optional)
  8. Electrolyte packets as energy drinks
  9. Carry eatable like fruits, dry fruits to munch on during trek and to avoid dehydration.

  5. Is this trek safe for girls?
    This trek is completely safe for girls. We have girl volunteers specially appointed for girls. And have separate changing rooms.
  6. How many trek leaders will be available?
    There will be 1 trek leader available for a group of 08 people in each trek.
  7. How do I get in touch with trek leaders and trek groups ?
    We add participants in our Whatsapp group one day prior to the event.
  8. Can I cancel my booking?
    You can check our cancel policy for the same. Or you can join us on the next trek (please inform us before 2 days)
  9. What is prohibited in this trek?
    Smoking, Drinking and loud music is prohibited.
  10. Can I come alone?
    Yes, you can join us as a solo traveller.
  11. What about extra baggage?
    You can safely keep your extra bags in bus.
  12. Are changing rooms provided?
    Yes, separate (Male/Female) changing rooms are provided.
  13. Are washrooms available on the trek?
    Washrooms are available at the base village only. No facility is available during the trek.
