Sandhan Valley, also known as Valley of suspense or Valley of Shadow, is one of the greatest canyons in the splendid setting of Sahyadri Western Ghats. The water-carved valley is 200 feet deep and about 1.5 km long. Sandhan valley is located on the western side of the beautiful Bhandardara region, near Samrad village.

  • Sandhan Valley Two day Trek
     
  • Friday Night 10.00 PM -
    Start the journey towards the base village Samradh from Shivajinagar, Pune and from Kasara Station Night 01.30 AM (Saturday) 
    Reach base village Samradh by 05.00 AM on Saturday
  • Saturday 07:00 AM - 
    Freshen up and breakfast, Post briefing, Start full descend trek towards Sandhan Valley
  • 01.30 PM - Lunch en route after crossing the rappelling patch
    Reach the Rappelling Point of valley
  • Saturday 04:00 PM -
    Evening tea
    05:00 pm Rest and freshen up at the campsite
    08:30 pm Dinner & Night Stay under open Sky in Tents.
  • Sunday 07:00 AM -
    Wake up and have a hot Breakfast.
    Start descending toward Dehne village.
  • Sunday 11.00 AM
    Reach Dehne village and start travel from Dehne village to Asangaon
    - Lunch Time - Dehne
  • Sunday 06.00 PM
    Reach Home with Loads of Memories

(01 - 02 hrs delay is possible depending on the speed of trekkers, traffic on the road & other unavoidable circumstances.. so keep that buffer)

  1. Is this trek safe for girls?
    This trek is completely safe for girls. We have girl volunteers specially appointed for girls. And have separate changing rooms.
  2. How many trek leaders will be available?
    There will be 1 trek leader available for a group of 8 people in each trek.
  3. How do I get in touch with trek leaders and trek groups ?
    We add participants in our Whatsapp group one day prior to the event.
  4. Can I cancel my booking?
    You can check our cancel policy for the same. Or you can join us on the next trek (please inform us before 2 days)
  5. What is prohibited in this trek?
    Smoking, Drinking and loud music is prohibited.
  6. Can I come alone?
    Yes, you can join us as a solo traveller.
  7. What about extra baggage ?
    You can safely keep your extra bags in bus.
  8. Are changing rooms provided ?
    Yes, separate (Male/Female) changing rooms are provided.
  9. What is the type of bus ?
    The bus is NON/AC Tempo Traveler with decent seating comfort.
  10. Are washrooms available on the trek ?
    Washrooms are available at the base village only. No facility is available during the trek.
