Despite being surrounded by the picturesque Sahyadri hills and blessed with waterfalls, lush greenery, scenic retreats and multiple backpacking opportunities, Bhandardara in Maharashtra remains a relatively undiscovered destination.

Fireflies belong to the beetle family order with many species. Some fireflies crawl on the ground while some take to flight. Fireflies create bioluminescence light to attract mates and prey. They are easily spotted pre-monsoon in forest areas or mountain regions. Fireflies are bioluminescent. They can produce their light. Few Firefly species are carnivorous in adulthood and eat fireflies of other genera.

  • Day 1 - (Saturday Morning)
    10.00 am - Pickup Form Pune by Private Bus 

    Pickup Points - Pune
    1) Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj bus stop (Shivajinagar Pune) In front of Maharashtra Bank 
    2) Nashik Fata 
    3) Bhosari Chowk 
    4) Chakan Chowk
     
  • Pickup For Mumbai - 
    Kasara Station - Cost : 1999/-
    You Can Reach To Kasara by Kasara Local (12:28 pm Slow from CST )
    Meeting Point: Kasara at 03:00 pm
     
  • 4:00 Pm:- Reach the Campsite.
    4:30 Pm:- Orientation and introduction.
    5:00 Pm:- Tea at Campsite & snacks. 
    6:00 Pm:- selfie and Photo Session ,Go on walk, Enjoy the Sunset View.
    7:00 Pm:- Tent Accommodation.
    8:00 Pm:- Music, Dance. 
    8:30 pm - Barbecue
    9:30 Pm:- Continue the dancing, Games With Campfire.
    10:00 Pm:- Dinner Under Star-lit Sky.
    10:30 Pm:- Go on walk, fireflies festival 
    12:00 Am:- Off for the day.
  • Day 02 
    7:00 Am:- Wake up and freshen up.
    8:00 Am:- Breakfast.
    9:00 Am:- Boating. 
    10:00 Am:- Check out Campsite

(01-02 hrs delay is possible on the speed of trekkers, traffic on the road & other unavoidable circumstances.. so keep that buffer)
